日照中心長輩 讓貧童有早餐吃

〔自由時報記者余雪蘭／嘉市報導〕八十四歲退休老兵王敬之，獲悉弱勢孩子需求「待用餐」後，捐出零錢罐，並獲同在日照中心的多位老人響應，五月開始資助十一位學童早餐與點心，昨天這群慈心爺爺奶奶與受助小朋友相見歡，老人家緊緊把小朋友擁在懷裡，開心不已。

「爺爺，我們到六年級都可以吃到您的早餐嗎？」小朋友與王敬之等九位慈心爺爺奶奶相見後，提出這樣的問題，老人家笑著說「沒問題啊！」

王敬之是嘉基醫院居服中心常樂園的長輩，今年四月他看到弱勢學童需求待用餐的報導後，想到自己也曾有過三餐不繼的苦日子，於是把廿多年來存起來的一元硬幣零錢罐，拿去銀行兌換成紙鈔，獲老同事陳淼的響應，湊足三千元，請常樂園社工們幫他完成資助貧童的願望。

常樂園其他長輩獲悉後也陸續捐款，從五月開始，每週二天，購買愛心早餐與下午點心，送到大同與興嘉國小給十一位弱勢學童享用，嘉義市居服中心並捐贈十一位學童的家庭每月各一包白米。

昨天下午，九位資助弱勢學童的慈心爺爺奶奶與大同國小八位受助小朋友相見歡，老人家一見小朋友就開心，贈送小朋友文具，社工並帶領老少玩起「炒蘿蔔」遊戲，場面溫馨。
