午後山間陽光大熾，在二月中旬的冬季將一對前往小鎮的族人悶壞了。搖下車窗，山風襲人，是難得的暖冬。

二手裕隆越過進入小鎮的橋面，迷霧悄悄從天而降，宛如一匹龍獸蒞臨。這對夫妻來到地政事務所，取得久違的父祖輩留下的土地證明、在牛肉麵店吃碗帶筋牛肉麵慶祝、購得孩子學用品，走出罕進的書店，小鎮已被霧雨籠罩。

兩人上車，在旅途中夢想未來的遠景。

車過山頭，趕上了急馳的迷霧，這霧白得太過刺眼，以至於族人將車停當，隨著刺眼的霧遠遠離去……不見了，怎麼都不見了。女人發出尖叫，男人看著疾馳的霧，這奇怪的霧帶走了任何事物，如饕餮，吃掉了野草樹林土地部落，只留下迷路的一對族人。
