資料一：16世紀末，數名甲國水手因船難被救起。隔年，甲國人將絲綢和商品送給乙國人作為回報。乙國人派船把這些貨物運回墨西哥，著名的太平洋貿易就這樣開始。
　資料二：16世紀末，丙國政治領袖正與甲國爆發戰爭，又要求乙國的總督納貢，此舉引起乙、丙兩國對立。最後導致丙國全面禁教，並逮捕乙國教士與教徒，全數處死。
　資料三：丁國原是乙國統治下的省份之一，在反抗高壓統治成功後，因先天缺乏自然資源，因此積極發展對甲國的貿易。在17世紀初，甲丁兩國因爭奪澎湖爆發衝突。
