寵物貓狗沮喪　也會藉吃求安慰

【綜合報導】不只人會靠吃尋求安慰，紓解鬱悶的心情，最近研究指出，寵物貓狗同樣也會用吃來讓自己開心，主人幫貓狗減肥的話，可是會讓牠們相當不開心。

這個由加州威斯頓大學獸醫系，前教授法蘭克林麥米蘭，在最新一期的「動物行為期刊」(Journal of Veterinary Behavior)上所發表的研究指出，寵物貓狗會因無聊、焦慮或是沮喪而狂吃，以尋求慰藉。
 
麥米蘭表示，家中寵物貓狗有過胖問題的主人，應該注意寵物的情緒問題，而不單是縮減牠們的食物。
