第17屆亞洲女排錦標賽昨天在泰國呵叻點燃戰火，中華隊首戰遭遇實力有段差距的斯里蘭卡隊，以25比6、25比6、25比13旗開得勝，台灣時間今天下午5點將再出戰緬甸，爭取分組前兩名晉級門票。

本屆亞錦賽共有16隊參賽、分為4組，中華隊與南韓、斯里蘭卡、緬甸同分在D組，分組前2名可晉級8強分組複賽。此外，曾拿下2009年冠軍的地主泰國隊，首役卻以1比3不敵上屆排名第9的哈薩克，成為首日最大冷門。
