休兵1周的聯邦快遞盃季後賽第3戰BMW錦標賽昨天登場，前2戰打完聯邦積分排名退至第2的伍茲，揮出季後賽最佳開局66桿（-5），但這個成績只能與美國同胞史崔克等另3人並列第3，美國好手史奈德克以63桿（-8）跑第1。

伍茲前2場分獲第2與第65，2周前打完德意志銀行錦標賽，就將積分王寶座讓給贏得此戰冠軍的瑞典名將史坦森，以4037分退居第2，不過2人只相差14分，最後「積分王」1千萬美元支票落入誰手，仍是未知數。
