【大陸中心╱綜合外電報導】中國湖北武漢光谷大道的社區大樓圍牆與住戶陽台上，22日都掛上了一排「臭」字旗。居民對記者反映，因為大樓對面的污水改善工程臭氣沖天，住戶們無法開窗呼吸，已嚴重影響了居民的生活和健康。

根據中新社的報導，武漢秀湖明渠污水工程分兩大部分，主要功能是污水治理和環境整治，並定於11月底正式運轉。但因惡臭撲鼻，惹來居民抗議。業主表示白天刺鼻臭味比較淡，晚上確實味道較濃，將進行改善。
