根據全球市場研究機構TrendForce旗下綠能事業處LEDinside最新LED燈泡零售價調查顯示，2013年9月，全球取代40W的LED燈泡零售均價上漲約2.8%，達到16.2美元。取代60W的LED燈泡全球均價小幅下跌2.5%，達到21.4美元。其中美國地區價格下降最為明顯，特別是北美一線照明大廠與零售通路品牌，紛紛推出超低價產品，明顯刺激市場買氣。

LEDinside表示，雖然部分LED產品停售，導致9月價格呈現波動，但整體來看，市場競爭繼續加劇，LED燈泡價格仍朝向下殺趨勢發展。

LEDinside表示，雖然9月LED燈泡零售價格呈現波動，但市場競爭明顯地越來越激烈，不少主要區域市場紛紛推出低價新品搶市，舉例來說，中國地區，洲明科技日前入股線上銷量領先的LED照明電商品牌翰源，進而成立「洲明翰源」品牌，推出具有價格競爭力的LE燈泡產品搶市。

美國則是Walmart自有品牌Great Value推出殺破美國市場底價的產品，其中，不可調光、取代60W的LED燈泡售價僅8.88美元，整體LED燈泡價格仍走下殺趨勢。
