日相安倍：如期調高消費稅

日本首相安倍晉三今天宣布，如期於明年4月起調高消費稅，並將實施刺激景氣方案，以便解決日本高債負問題，但不危及結束通縮的努力。

59歲的安倍表示，消費稅率將從現在的5%升高至8%，這是日本自1997年以年首次調高稅率。安倍預定今天稍晚宣布刺激方案的規模。經濟學家預測是5兆日圓（510億美元）的計畫，將包括公共工程建設，以及鼓勵企業提高資本支出和為員工加薪的稅務優惠。
