斯里蘭卡釋善意 願開放勞工來台工作

媒體報導，斯里蘭卡釋出善意，有意輸出該國勞工來台，使我國勞委會自2004年停頓至今的外勞來源國開拓行動出現重大突破。對此，勞委會職訓局官員今天(1日)表示，開發新的外勞來源國一直是勞委會的目標，雖接獲斯國的善意，但後續還需要雙方再詳談，沒有任何時程安排。

職訓局外勞管理組組長陳瑞嘉1日表示，職訓局局長林三貴今年拜訪斯里蘭卡高層時，對方高層就表達有意願讓斯國勞工來台工作，勞委會也一直將開放新的外勞來源國視為一貫目標，因此雙方正進一步洽談中，但他對後續時程規劃不願多談。

目前在台工作的外勞人數已接近47萬人，以印尼、越南、菲律賓及泰國等地的外勞為主。
