肯亞政府說，肯亞政府軍警已經掌控一切，商場攻擊案應該很快就就結束。

肯亞「國家救難中心」說，肯亞軍警已經掌控局勢，很快就會攻堅。他們呼籲商場裡的人質，保持冷靜。

有媒體說，肯亞首都奈洛比「西門商場」傳出巨大爆炸聲，就在這個時候，肯亞特種部隊開始攻堅。
