美消俄進 俄將擴展吉爾吉斯軍事基地

俄羅斯高級空軍指揮官塞瓦斯提雅諾夫(Viktor Sevastyanov)今天(26日)表示，俄羅斯將在今年底，美軍關閉在吉爾吉斯的基地之前，擴展在當地的空軍基地。

塞瓦斯提雅諾夫在俄羅斯駐坎特(Kant)空軍基地表示，到今年12月的時候，俄國在這處基地的戰機數量最少將增加1倍。

塞瓦斯提雅諾夫是在紀念坎特基地10週年的儀式上，作以上表示。

此外，塞瓦斯提雅諾夫也表示，俄羅斯也將派遣更多飛行員進駐這處基地。

坎特基地是去年吉爾吉斯和俄國之間意見不和的主要來源，而俄羅斯一直在和美國角逐中亞地區的影響力。在另一方面，美國向吉爾吉斯租借的馬納斯基地(Manas)，租約將在明年7月到期。

吉爾吉斯總統阿坦巴耶夫(Almazbek Atambayev)去年抱怨說，俄國租借基地對吉爾吉斯非但沒有好處，還積欠吉爾吉斯政府1,500萬美元。

不論如何，俄國和吉爾吉斯已經在9月間簽署一項協定，允許莫斯科繼續租用坎特基地一直到2032年，以換取俄國鉤銷吉爾吉斯積欠俄國的5億美元債務。
