摘要：你聽過化冬這個習俗嗎？早期農村社會廟裡的廟公，為了籌措香油前和自己的生活費，會挑著裝有餅乾和平安幅的扁擔挨家挨戶的去募白米。這個習俗後來因為工業社會發達後，比較少人下田插秧，失傳了50年。現在宜蘭為了要籌措貧困老人的營養午餐錢，又重新將這習俗，傳承下去，也讓村子裡的小朋友知道以前的農村生活。 頭戴斗笠挑著扁擔打赤腳，在社區裡面穿梭，旁邊的那位是廟公，要去跟每戶人家籌錢，拿出扁擔裡的餅乾跟農家換稻穀，好讓廟公幫廟裡添點香油錢和自己的生活費，這個習俗就是失傳了五十年的化冬
