國泰入主柬埔寨銀行　SBC將更名

國泰世華銀行入主柬埔寨SBC（Singapore Banking Corporation Limited）銀行後，要將原先名為「新加坡」的銀行英文名稱，改為國泰世華銀行。

國泰世華去年先取得SBC銀行7成股權，在今年9月下旬，又獲金管會核准，再投資約3億4200萬台幣，取得SBC剩下三成股權，國泰世華對SBC銀行已100%持股。

由於SBC原先為新加坡銀行業者持有，英文名稱為Singapore，國泰世華已決定將SBC的英文名稱改為Cathay United Bank。SBC 高層也將異動，市場傳出，國泰世華已挖角前荷商安智銀行（ING）總經理梁敬思，接任SBC董事長一職。
