日本職棒太平洋聯盟季後賽，樂天美馬學完封，2比0擊敗羅德，拿到第2勝；樂天再一勝（季賽第一，已先拿到1勝），即可打進總冠軍賽。

此戰，樂天2局下兩出局後展開攻勢，枡田慎太郎獲觸身球保送，松井稼頭央、嶋基宏連敲安打，打回致勝的2分。

樂天先發投手美馬學是職棒三年級生，今年戰績6勝5敗、防禦率4.12，此戰他完封9局只被打出4支安打沒失分，三振7次、保送2次，羅德先發投手古谷拓哉投5局失2分。

樂天與羅德的季後賽，第1戰樂天2比0贏球，第2戰德4比2扳回一城。台北時間20日中午12日兩隊將打第4戰，樂天將由辛島航先發，羅德由松永昂大主投。
