獲頒歷史成就獎 李維拉：從國聯復出

洋基傳奇終結者李維拉(Mariano Rivera)在25日回到芬威球場，接受主席塞利格(Bud Selig)頒發大聯盟主席歷史成就獎(Commissioner's Historic Achievement Award)，而本季正式宣布高掛球鞋的李維拉，不改幽默表示，「我要從國聯復出。」這番話也逗得全場哈哈大笑。

大聯盟主席歷史成就獎自1998年設立，主要頒發給對棒球歷史有巨大貢獻及成就的球員、球團。今年李維拉是第13位獲獎的球員，老婆和3個小孩也都來到球場參加頒獎儀式，接受「歷史成就獎」的殊榮。

「李維拉生涯成就非凡，是棒球歷史上最偉大的終結者，這是毫無疑問的。」聯盟主席塞利格致詞時說道，「雖然紀錄是拿來打破的，但我非常有信心李維拉的救援紀錄經得起考驗，他為棒球做了諸多貢獻，絕對是這世代最偉大的棒球員。」

雖然李維拉的復出只是玩笑話，但他表示明年可能會以球迷身分回到春訓基地，「或許，如果我明年出現在坦帕春訓基地，我會向老隊友們打聲招呼，我喜歡他們，彼此感情緊密，且生涯都和他們混在一起，所以他們永遠的都是我的好隊友。」

李維拉生涯出賽1115場，戰績82勝60敗自責分率2.11，救援場次952場、652次救援都是大聯盟歷史第一名，也是大聯盟最後一位身穿42號球衣的球員，25日獲獎時再度接受每場球迷最高的敬意。

大聯盟歷史成就獎近五位得主分別是，2004年克萊門斯(Roger Clemens)、2005鈴木一朗、2006年克萊門特(Roberto Clemente)、2007年羅賓森(Rachel Robinson)、2011年小葛瑞菲(Ken Griffey Jr.)。
