泳池的氯檢測劑會致癌！　北市加強把關

【蔡亞樺／台北報導】台北市環保局今表示，目前市面上常作為測定餘氯的快速檢驗劑主要為鄰-聯甲苯(OTD)及N,N-二乙基-對-苯二胺(DPD)，其中OTD已被世界衛生組織將其與DDT等並列為第2級B類致癌物，也被美國列為疑似環境荷爾蒙，因此已函請體育局、教育局及衛生局輔導泳池業者，參照環保署公告的檢測方法，使用DPD檢測餘氯，以保民眾安全。  

環保局說，檢測廢液進入泳池時至少稀釋數十萬倍，短期接觸不致影響健康，但仍建議各界改用環保署公告的DPD檢測餘氯，且檢測後廢液應裝入垃圾袋、以廢棄物處理，勿再倒入泳池中。
