針對頻頻發生的倒車意外，汽車電子業者敦揚科技研發結合智慧型手機的「後方偵測攝影鏡頭」，將倒車影像傳遞到智慧型手機，不需另外裝顯示器，便利性大為提升。

敦揚指出，除了台灣近來倒車發生的意外頻傳，根據「紐約時報」報導，美國平均每年有 228人死於倒車事故，約 1.7萬人在這類事故中受傷；非營利機構調查更發現，美國平均每週約有 2名兒童死於汽車倒車意外，且肇事者大多是孩子的父母或者親人。

為避免類似事件一再發生，美國國家公路交通安全管理局已通過法案，要求輕型車輛加裝後視攝鏡頭。

但敦揚近來成功研發新型的「後方偵測攝影鏡頭」，只要透過wifi傳輸，就能將倒車影像傳遞到智慧型手機，不需另外裝顯示器，就能清楚看到倒車影像。

敦揚同時搭配設計一套APP軟體，可讓使用者依據不同車型，調整倒車輔助線等設定。

敦揚表示，「後方偵測攝影鏡頭」不但適用於一般轎車，卡車、巴士甚至工程車等都能安裝，大幅提高安裝的便利性。
