【楊喻斐／台北報導】美商賽靈思（Xilinx）今宣布其20奈米元件再創業界第一，業界首款20奈米可編程邏輯元件 (PLD) 和All Programmable（全部可編程）元件，已開始在台積電（2330）投片，其技術領先大幅競爭對手半年到1年。
 
賽靈思可編程產品事業群資深副總裁Victor Peng表示，賽靈思擬定了一個業界最積極的20奈米元件投片計劃，在高階元件方面，將大幅領先最近競手對手1年以上；而在中階元件方面，則超越對手至少半年。
 
Victor Peng強調，藉由台積電的製程技術和賽靈思的UltraScale架構，以及運用Vivado設計套件進行協同最佳化，賽靈思將超前1年將系統級效能與整合度提升1.5至2倍，這等同於領先對手一個世代。
 
Victor Peng表示，賽靈思持續與台積電合作，將規劃高階FPGA(可編程閘陣列晶片)的需求導入台積的20奈米研發流程。
