菲律賓掃射我漁船致漁民洪石成死亡，引起全民公憤。總統馬英九昨晚在粉絲頁上說，這幾天網友在臉書的留言，愛國心情溢於言表，「我都看到了，也和大家站在一起」，馬英九強調自己的總統身分，要保障人民生命安全與國家主權，呼籲全民支持政府對外抗議措施，當政府最強力的後盾。

馬英九在臉書上說，昨天至洪家慰問時，死者家屬要求「菲律賓政府公開向我漁民道歉、確保漁民作業安全、建立並簡化報案標準作業流程」等，他向家屬保證一定會討回公道，絕對不會不了了之，以告慰洪先生在天之靈。
