埔里桃米生態村 全新步道今啟用

位在南投縣埔里鎮的「桃米生態村」近幾年發展生態產業，讓桃米社區的遊客量大增，為了讓村內「桃米坑溪步道」更安全，在日月潭國家風景管理處的支持下，全新的步道在今天（25號）舉行啟用典禮。

日管處表示，「桃米坑溪」有豐富的生態環境，九二一震災後，居民們發起封溪護魚並自力綠化三百多公尺的河濱步道，日管處納入桃米轄區後，投入經費整建，並栽植春不老、野牡丹及山桂花等多種食草蜜源植物，營造蝴蝶的棲地，成為社區型的賞蝶路線，讓桃米社區的遊程有了新的起點。（圖：桃米坑溪步道 日管處提供）
