兒時罹癌 大增成年慢性病風險

（法新社華盛頓11日電） 根據美國權威醫學期刊登載的研究報告，兒時曾罹癌的族群，成年後罹患慢性病的風險異常高。

這項研究追蹤1700名兒時曾罹癌的成年人，發現他們如今絕大多數都患有1種或更多的慢性病。

報告刊登在明天出刊的「美國醫學會期刊」（JAMA）。

研究領導人哈德遜（Melissa Hudson）說：「童年罹癌存活者日後罹患1種或更多年輕成人常見慢性病的比率，異常地高。」

哈德遜任職於聖朱德兒童研究醫院（St. JudeChildren's Research Hospital）與田納西大學醫學院（University of Tennessee College of Medicine）。

研究發現，兒時罹癌的族群，到了45歲罹患至少1種慢性病的比率是80.5%，而這種情形似乎和年齡增長成正比。

報告指出，研究對象主要罹患的是肺部、心臟、聽覺、神經或內分泌系統等方面疾病。

科學家呼籲進一步研究，指出「對於癌症治療所引起毒性效應的普遍性...尚未充分研究」。（譯者：中央社陳怡君）
